These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the HomeMatch website and services (the "Service"), owned and operated by Apex Business Advising LLC, doing business as HomeMatch ("HomeMatch," "we," or "us"), located at 4450 Arapahoe Avenue, Suite 100, Boulder, CO 80303. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
HomeMatch connects homeowners with independent, third-party contractors ("Pros"). We are a matching and information service — we are not a contractor, we do not perform home-improvement work, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter into with a Pro. Content on the Service, including our resource guides, is general information for homeowners, not legal, financial, engineering, or other professional advice, and does not guarantee eligibility, financing, project outcomes, or the availability of any Pro. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
HomeMatch is not a government agency, licensing board, or insurer, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency, contractor association, or insurer unless expressly stated.
You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to use the Service. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account, and you agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
You may use the Service for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes related to finding and hiring a Pro. You may not interfere with the Service, attempt unauthorized access, submit false or harmful information, distribute malware, or misuse its content. We may, but are not obligated to, review content and may remove anything that violates these Terms.
The Service may link or refer to third-party websites, tools, or contractors ("Pros"). We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of any third-party site, nor for the licensing, insurance, work, conduct, or representations of any Pro. Your use of a third-party site or your dealings with any Pro are solely between you and that party.
HomeMatch is free for homeowners. Any agreement to pay a Pro for their work is strictly between you and that Pro. You are responsible for any carrier, data, or internet charges you incur while using the Service.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HomeMatch, Apex Business Advising LLC, and our officers, employees, and partners from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Service or your dealings with any Pro.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeMatch disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any Pro's licensing, insurance, work, or pricing will meet your expectations.
HomeMatch, the HomeMatch logo, and related marks are trademarks of Apex Business Advising LLC. You may not use our name, logo, or marks without our prior written permission.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, or update these Terms, at any time, with or without notice; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We may also suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or for security or operational reasons.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and HomeMatch regarding the Service. They are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its state and federal courts. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver, and if any provision is found invalid the rest remain in effect. Any claim relating to the Service must be brought within one year after it arises.
